Editorial Design
With a proven track record working on product catalogs, published art books and print advertisements, I bring a sharpened eye for detail and a strong understanding of pre-press print production: color profiles, image standards, and typesetting. To optimize the layout workflow within Adobe InDesign, I establish baseline grids, parent pages, paragraph/character styles, and preflight checks. These systems ensure the end product is organized, editable and free of typos. My expertise extends to crafting custom graphic elements that enhance the overall functionality of each layout and overall aesthetic. I have also broaden my skillset by producing original high-resolution images to use specifically for these publications. These projects are an example of my proficiency in Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
2024 New Product Collection Catalog
I laid out each of the 124 pages within this catalog throughout the year 2024, then reformatted them for this product collection catalog, covers included. Majority of the product images, application images and lifestyle images I shot in-house and retouched in photoshop. Below are some of my favorite spreads.
Published Book - The Elephant Never Forgets
In March of 2022, Danny Minnick reached out to me asking if I could help him create a book that would showcase 10 years of his paintings, installations and artwork. I jumped at the opportunity and we created a first draft within that same week. Little did we know we would end up create 70+ more drafts of this book over the next 2 years. Many studio visits and zoom calls later, the 541 page book was completed, printed, and ready to be shared. Perfect bound with 32 signatures, inside of a hardcover, and placed inside of a custom made box that mirrors the original hardcover artwork, Danny released these to his closest colleagues, friends and family at his art show in Maxfield LA in May 2024.
Today, Danny and I continue to create smaller curated collections of his artwork for buyers, collectors and galleries. I'll generate artwork mockups inside potential new galleries, draft artwork proposals, and more.
